Now that the government is restricting the salaries of banking executives, why not apply the same standard to university presidents and professors? There's no reason why a university president needs to make more than $300,000/year or a professor more than $150,000/year. If a university accepts government money, either directly or indirectly in the form of student grants, the salaries of the president and professors should be limited. Bring down the cost of college. Restrict the salaries if university presidents and professors.
